How do I test the suitability of the shampoo for my child’s hair?
pout Care Natural Shampoos are gentle and suit all hair types. However, you may want to do a patch test by applying it on a small portion of scalp or skin. If the product causes skin discomfort or an undesirable reaction, such as dryness or irritation, discontinue use.
How often should I shampoo my child’s hair?
How often you choose to shampoo depends on your child’s hair – its length, whether it is fine or thick, dry or oily. For children with normal hair, you may consider shampooing every alternate day. If your child perspires a lot or is often exposed to a humid environment, it is advisable to shampoo their hair daily.
How much shampoo should I use?
You may dispense an amount about 1 inch in diameter. If the child’s hair is longer, feel free to use more. Ensure that hair is thoroughly wet so that the shampoo lathers easier. After testing the initial wash with this amount of shampoo, you may adjust the volume accordingly as needed. Hair and scalp should feel clean and light after a good wash.
Why does my child’s hair feel so soft after using pout Care Natural Shampoo without conditioning? This is so even after swimming.

Over time, your child’s hair will look glossier and healthier with regular use.
Why doesn’t my pout Care Natural Shampoos lather so well?
pout Care Natural Shampoos do not contain sulphates – the ingredient that creates rich foam. To create lather, make sure hair is thoroughly wet before applying the shampoo. Use a sufficient amount and continue to add water to create lather. Make sure shampoo reaches all parts of the scalp for an effective and even cleanse. Shampooing twice occasionally will also help. Shampooing the first time removes product build up that results in dull, dry hair. After rinsing off thoroughly, repeat the process. You will notice that there will be more lather the second time due to less residue on your child’s hair.
I noticed my child has been scratchingher scalp after using pout Care’s Shampoo. Why did this happen?
If you are switching from a sulphate shampoo to a sulphate-free one, the scalp will need time to adjust to the change, and some itchiness may arise. In other cases, insufficient amount of shampoo used to cleanse, or uneven cleansing, would also lead to itchiness. Always ensure you use enough shampoo and thoroughly lather through every section of the scalp. If your child has very sensitive skin and is allergic to some natural plants and ingredients in general, please do check the list of Ingredients before use. If they develop any allergic reaction, please stop use and consult your doctor.
